Anmeldelse

Fordeler

Broad 1x drivetrain compatibility (9–12-speed; stated support for SRAM Eagle/T-Type, Shimano HG+, KMC)
Multiple offsets tailored for Shimano Deore/SLX/XT 96 BCD and separate XTR M9000 option improves chainline setup
7075-T6 aluminum, CNC-machined and anodized for typical stiffness-to-weight and wear characteristics
Lightweight for category (approx. 25–84 g depending on tooth count)
Narrow-wide tooth profile for chain retention without a guide
Wide size range (28T–42T) for fine gearing selection

Ting å vurdere

96 mm 4-bolt ecosystem is aging; fewer aftermarket options and future availability versus direct-mount standards
HG+ and SRAM T-Type chains can be sensitive to tooth profiles; potential for increased noise or wear versus OEM-specific profiles (DCE+/T-type-specific)
Brand- and model-specific durability data is limited; independent long-term reviews are scarce
Offset variants add fitment complexity; incorrect selection can cause poor chainline or frame clearance issues
No integrated mud-shedding or special coating claims beyond anodizing; performance in abrasive, muddy conditions unverified by independent tests

Oppsummering & anbefalinger

A functional 96 BCD narrow‑wide chainring with broad claimed drivetrain compatibility, multiple offsets for correct chainline, and competitive weight from 7075 CNC construction. It suits riders maintaining Shimano 96 BCD cranks and moving to or replacing a 1x ring. Key trade‑offs are limited ecosystem longevity, sparse independent durability data, and potential tooth‑profile nuances with Shimano HG+ and SRAM T‑Type chains compared to OEM‑profile rings.

Bruksområder & tips

Best for MTB riders running Shimano 96 BCD 4-arm cranks (Deore M6000, SLX M7000, XT M8000, and XTR M9000 variant) who need a 1x replacement or gearing change in XC/trail use. Not suitable for 2x setups or cranks that use direct-mount interfaces. Choose offset carefully to match the specific crank and target chainline, especially on 12-speed drivetrains.
