Gurpil Xm M4050 27.5´´ Cl Disc Mtb Bakhjul, Black, 9 x 135mm

Fordeler

• Wide compatibility with older MTBs: QR 9x135 mm axle and Shimano HG freehub for 8/9/10 and 11‑speed MTB cassettes
• Serviceable cup-and-cone bearings allow adjustment and maintenance with common tools
• 36 spokes increase lateral stiffness and durability for load-carrying and rough use
• Center Lock rotor interface enables quick rotor installation and secure fit
• Machined brake track allows use with V-brakes or as a mixed setup during upgrades

Ting å vurdere

• Outdated axle standard (QR 135) and non-Boost spacing limit compatibility with modern frames
• Likely heavier than contemporary MTB wheels; rim brake track adds unnecessary weight for disc-only builds
• No clear tubeless-ready specification, reducing puncture protection and low-pressure performance
• Center Lock limits rotor options unless using an adapter
• Cup-and-cone bearings require periodic maintenance to prevent play and wear

Oppsummering & anbefalinger

A practical, durable rear wheel built around a Shimano FH-M4050 hub with serviceable bearings and 36 spokes. It fits older QR 9x135 mm frames and HG cassettes (8/9/10 and 11-speed MTB). Lack of tubeless readiness, heavier construction, and obsolete axle spacing limit appeal for modern trail bikes, but it is a solid replacement choice for legacy setups and utility use.

Bruksområder & tips

Best suited as a durable replacement rear wheel for older 27.5-inch MTBs using QR 9x135 and Center Lock rotors, including commuter, trekking, and light trail bikes. Appropriate for riders prioritizing strength and serviceability over low weight and modern standards.
