• Warmth is moderate; can feel cold in sub‑freezing/extreme conditions without warm socks or overboots
• Water resistance is adequate but can wet through during prolonged slushy sessions
• Reports of lace-cover zipper durability issues over time
• Standard/normal last may not suit very wide or very narrow feet

Oppsummering & anbefalinger

Madshus Race Speed Skate delivers solid stability and fit security in a mid-tier skate boot. The supportive cuff and 180° heel counter aid edging and control, while the RevoWrap softshell construction balances comfort and hold. It is lighter and stiffer than entry-level options but falls short of top-tier carbon race boots in power transfer and weight. Water resistance and warmth are adequate for typical training days but may require overboots or warmer socks in very cold or wet conditions. A strong choice for dedicated training and citizen racing where value and dependable performance are priorities.

Bruksområder & tips

Best for adult skiers at an intermediate-to-advanced level seeking a stable, performance-oriented skate boot for training and citizen racing on groomed tracks. Suits those prioritizing fit security, stability, and value over ultra-lightweight or maximum stiffness. Not intended for classic technique or off-track/backcountry use.
