Ting å vurdere

• 36T engagement (~10°) is slower than premium hubs; requires ratchet upgrade for quicker pickup
• Straight‑pull spokes can be less convenient to source than J‑bend in some regions
• Aluminum nipples may be more prone to corrosion/seizing than brass in wet/salty climates
• 27.5 inch format is less common on new bikes; future wheel/tire availability may narrow over time
• Rotor interface varies by model; Center Lock version requires an adapter for 6‑bolt rotors

Oppsummering & anbefalinger

DT Swiss EX 1700 SPLINE 30 (27.5, rear) combines the durable EX 511 rim with the proven 350 Ratchet 36T hub for a dependable enduro wheel. It offers strong impact resistance, straightforward serviceability, and easy tubeless use. Trade‑offs include moderate hub engagement, straight‑pull spoke sourcing, and aluminum nipples. Overall, it is a robust, low‑maintenance alloy option for aggressive riding and e‑MTB use where reliability and parts support are priorities.
