wethepeople Helix Lhd 20´´ Bmx Bakhjul, Black, 14 x 110mm

Fordeler

• LHD (left‑hand drive) freecoaster configuration suited for left‑side grinding and drive protection
• Robust setup for street use: 14 mm male axle, 36h build, brass nipples, and double‑wall, flash‑sveiset aluminum rim (Wethepeople Logic)
• Includes nylon/fiberglass hubguards on both sides and spare cones for use without guards
• Freecoaster functionality enables fakies without pedal kickback; slack is user‑adjustable
• Aftermarket Helix hub with widely available small parts and service kits
• Clincher (kanttråd) compatibility and standard 36h pattern for easy tire/spoke service

Ting å vurdere

• Heavier than cassette and some newer planetary freecoaster systems
• Clutch‑style freecoaster internals typically require periodic maintenance; users report driver bearings and clutch components as wear items
• Engagement has inherent slack and lag versus cassettes—less ideal for ramp/park riders who need instant pickup
• Straight‑gauge spokes add weight and can fatigue sooner than butted alternatives
• Nylon hubguards wear with frequent grinds and may need replacement
• LHD only on this variant—unsuitable for riders who require RHD on the drive side

Oppsummering & anbefalinger

A solid aftermarket street wheel built around Wethepeople’s Helix freecoaster and Logic rim. It prioritizes durability and street functionality with included hubguards, a strong 36h build, and serviceable internals. Typical freecoaster trade‑offs apply—more weight, periodic maintenance, and engagement lag—making it a strong choice for fakie‑heavy street setups but less ideal for riders seeking the immediacy and lower weight of a cassette or planetary freecoaster.

Bruksområder & tips

Best suited for street BMX riders who grind predominantly on the right and prefer left‑hand drive protection, ride 20" wheels with 14 mm dropouts, and want freecoaster performance for fakie tricks. Not optimal for BMX racing or riders prioritizing instant engagement and minimal weight.
